Dr. Lindsey Patton

Dr. Lindsey Patton

Partner Veterinarian

Since graduating from Ontario Veterinary College in 2009, Lindsey has been working as a small animal veterinarian taking care of Burlington area pets and their families. In 2022, she found this amazing opportunity to partner with her friend Dr Michelle Wallace and together they brought their talents (and their awesome technician team) to Aldershot Animal Hospital. They both look forward to developing relationships with their clients and helping pets in Aldershot.

Raised in a small town, Lindsey grew up in a large family of girls with a pet Springer Spaniel. She developed a love for animals and a curiosity for science at an early age and knew in her heart that her future calling was in veterinary medicine.

Lindsey loves educating clients about preventative healthcare for their pets so they can enjoy a long healthy life together. She has a special interest in veterinary dentistry and surgery and enjoys learning new techniques through continuing education.

Lindsey lives with her husband, 2 children and 2 dogs- a yellow lab named Charlie and a pug terrier cross named Frankie. In her free time she loves going camping with her family, playing hockey, reading and hiking.

Dr. Michelle Wallace

Dr. Michelle Wallace

Partner Veterinarian

Growing up in Mississauga, Dr. Michelle’s family was never without a pet. Cats, hamsters and rabbits were her constant companions. At the young age of seven, Dr. Michelle told her parents she wanted to be a vet, and she never wavered in that goal over the years. As one of the partners here at Aldershot Animal Hospital, Dr. Michelle gets to live her childhood dream, supporting the human-animal bond and helping companion animals enjoy their best lives.

Dr. Michelle studied at the University of Guelph before being accepted into the Ontario Veterinary College, from which she graduated with her DVM in 2002. Clinically, she has a special interest in preventative medicine and disease processes. She also enjoys ultrasound imaging, as it provides a bigger picture of what is happening internally and can help provide clues as to why a pet is not feeling well.

At home, Dr. Michelle has a family of six, including two twin daughters and two sons. Their fur babies include a shy Mastiff named Hazel, and two sibling cats, Zulu and Victor. Victor is very athletic, routinely jumping from ceiling to ceiling, and always willing to chase a bug, while Zulu prefers to lounge on his window seat and soak in the sun.

Outside of work, Dr. Michelle enjoys going for walks with Hazel and playing piano. In her rare moments of down time, you might find her treating herself to a hot cup of tea or hot chocolate and tuning in to a good crime show on TV. The Wallace family is heavily involved in hockey, and loves to travel and experience various world cultures. So far, the most memorable places they’ve visited include South Africa, Thailand and Costa Rica.
