Dr. Lindsey Patton

Dr. Lindsey Patton

Associate Veterinarian

After Lindsey graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 2009, she heard about an amazing opportunity to partner with her old friend from vet school. This brought her to Aldershot Animal Hospital, where she took on a role as veterinarian. For over a decade now, she has been able to provide preventative health care for patients and their loved ones on a daily basis, and she relishes every second of it!

Raised in a small town, Lindsey grew up in a large family where there was always a family dog present. She developed a love for animals at an early age and knew deep inside of her heart that her future calling was going to be in the veterinary field. After focusing on her studies, she was able to eventually make her dreams come true.

Lindsey loves several different aspects of being at Aldershot Animal Hospital. However the thing she loves most is witnessing the unbreakable bond between pets and their families. She also likes the surgery and dental portion of the job, and appreciates the opportunity to learn new things.

Today Lindsey lives with her husband, 2 children and 2 dogs. When she has free time she loves going camping, playing hockey and hiking.

Dr. Michelle Wallace

Dr. Michelle Wallace

Associate Veterinarian

Growing up in Mississauga, Dr. Michelle’s family was never without a pet. Cats, hamsters and rabbits were her constant companions. At the young age of seven, Dr. Michelle told her parents she wanted to be a vet, and she never wavered in that goal over the years. As one of the partners here at Aldershot Animal Hospital, Dr. Michelle gets to live her childhood dream, supporting the human-animal bond and helping companion animals enjoy their best lives.

Dr. Michelle studied at the University of Guelph before being accepted into the Ontario Veterinary College, from which she graduated with her DVM in 2002. Clinically, she has a special interest in preventative medicine and disease processes. She also enjoys ultrasound imaging, as it provides a bigger picture of what is happening internally and can help provide clues as to why a pet is not feeling well.

At home, Dr. Michelle has a family of six, including two twin daughters and two sons. Their fur babies include a shy Mastiff named Hazel, and two sibling cats, Zulu and Victor. Victor is very athletic, routinely jumping from ceiling to ceiling, and always willing to chase a bug, while Zulu prefers to lounge on his window seat and soak in the sun.

Outside of work, Dr. Michelle enjoys going for walks with Hazel and playing piano. In her rare moments of down time, you might find her treating herself to a hot cup of tea or hot chocolate and tuning in to a good crime show on TV. The Wallace family is heavily involved in hockey, and loves to travel and experience various world cultures. So far, the most memorable places they’ve visited include South Africa, Thailand and Costa Rica.
